Lugkasteel Scrapbooking à la Hettie Krüger

My husband, Phillip, and I, are celebrating our first anniversary on 1 January 2020! Our ceremony started on 31 December 2018, with us kissing at midnight and signing directly after that, making our wedding date 1 January 2019. Our guests lit sparklers to celebrate the joyous occasion. For this layout I used black and white paper with clock faces, golden doilies and red glitter paper. I covered the letters for the title in golden glitter and added some chipboard words. Stay posted for the anniversary layout, coming early next year...

This is my very first post in my brand new Scrapbooking Blog, where I will share my own Scrapbooking Journey. Being Afrikaans, I can hardly believe that I am blogging in English, but Scrapbooking is just THAT universal! Although I only really started Scrapbooking in 2018, I have had an interest in the hobby for at least ten years before I actually started...    In 2008, when Kathu Village Mall first opened, I bought this Scrapbooking album at CNA. It came with a few scrapbook pages.    These were the very first layouts I did, without any Scrapbooking knowledge or help.       The last one I actually only finished ten years later (with a bit of help), when I really started Scrapbooking!
